Zeus vs REC Active BMS synchronization

    Hello in the topic of Arco Zeus, today I tried to synchronize Zeus with REC Active BMS which manages the entire Victron system via DVCC.
    Unfortunately, connection (synchronization) failed.

    Hi Chris,

    We sent a REC Active BMS to Arco last fall and they confirmed that it was working but we havent had a chance to test that configuration yet.  I will reach out to them to see if they have any insight for you.

    Maybe they have specific settings, Zeus connection via Cerbo Can port, settings compatible with REC BMS

    Chris,

    I have not had any luck contacting Zeus either.  Your selling dealer should be able to help you with this.

    @Rick I will solve this problem faster myself because I do not count on the help of the seller or manufacturer.
    Zeus is an interesting product, but there is no technical support.

    Did you manage to get the Zeus and REC Active BMS syncronized?

    Ryan,

    Do you have your Active BMS setup on the VE.CAN port and the port configured in the Cerbo?

    In the past year Victron and REC have enhanced their interoperability and for DVCC control it now needs to be connected there.

    Thank you for the fast reply Rick!

    I'm fed up with Wakespeed and going to purchase an ARCO Zeus to replace my WS-500 PRO. I also have a bricked WS-500 I will be doing a review on shortly. The WS-500 PRO is working but will be joining the WS-500 in Davy Jones' Locker soon.

    Just wanted to confirm the Zeus and REC-Active BMS play nicely before making the purchase.
