Yes. V1.28 seems to fix a lot of the previous bugs. I can confirm DVCC now works.
Did you unzip the folder first? https://rec-bms-na.com/product-manuals/#7-12-wpfd-rec-wi-fi-module
DVCC does work. Under /System, have you enabled "Support Victron DVCC = ON"?
These datas are sent by the "REC-BMS Q Series BMS". Seems to be an new feature in Venus release-candidate v3.60~73. The description is so far only this "Add Battery charge request info". So far ...
Yes, it is indeed to high. Try setting the Charged Voltage to 13.9V.
WS500 does indeed support DVCC. Just make sure your WS500 has newest FW and DVCC support is enabled in the settings in WS500.
They fixed one more thing on V1.25. When Alternator current is below 1A, it now sends data to the Cerbo as 0A. Before it would show +10W all day, every day, messing up the consumption calculation...
You may try the REC Follow again now. I think they changed it from 500 kps to 250kbps on the last update. But then you need to change REC BMS to 250 kps, and REC + Zeus needs to be ...
Definetly an step in the right direction. And I found the same thing, will report til Arco. BTW, your battery temp shows 0`C.
DVCC seems to work now in V1.25, great. Just make sure NMEA2000-out is enabled in the Cerbo. /Settings/Services/VE.CAN port. If not, DVCC does not work. I also suspect they changed REC ...
ARCO Zeus Firmware 1.25 Update is out. https://arcomarine.com/pages/arco-zeus-bluetooth-alternator-regulator-firmware-updates Now DVCC should work, have not tested it myself yet.
Seems like they will release new FW Next week. Found this in an facebook group. Should solve the DVCC not working correctly in current version.
I had an customer try this, still shows 0% in V2.60-72. Strange..
Still no news from Arco on that "next week" firmware update. Have you been able to test the Zeus now Rick?
Yes, correct. Use protocoll 2 or 3, depending on your preference. Personally I have used 3, with same setup as you.
I have heard others report the same, with 2.6.0 and Venusv OS v3.55. Perhaps try to update cerbo to Release-candidate V3.60-7X, it has an "fix" for this:
Turned out to be component U5 (IRS21867), Gate Driver. $2 fix, now it works again.
Hello. Have anyone had the field output of WS500 fail? Spesific the V1.0 board. Of so, what was the fix? Field output at 100% gives an steady 11V out unloaded (13.2V in), but when ...
Just got this feedback from Arco: "Ok, found the issue on DVCC. We are fixing it, and it will be available in the next week or so. The comms issue (unplugging the network cable) has be...
With Sync Disabled you should see these data. And this works just fine.. I also have REC BMS, but using it with volt sense is fine until Arco improves the SW. I was also an "beta tester" fo...
Tested in system with Victron Smart BMS NG and still can not get DVCC to work. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Also, in V1.24 there is no timeout if Zeus looses contact with BMS. The las...
Arco says "victron follow" needs to be anabled for DVCC to work. But I found that this only works when you have an Victron Lynx Smart NG BMS in the system. So in my opinion its not tr...
"Does it follow DVCC now as well?" No, I have not got DVCC to work, not sure why. Perhaps it needs to be set to "Victron follow". but that only works if you have an Lynx Smart BMS NG as well...
I think I found the problem myself. In my system, there is 7 batteri monitors: 4 Batteries, then there are also 2 pcs MPPT and 1 PCS Multiplus, but the Cerbo sends these data as an battery m...
Ever since installing the Zeus I have been having issues with NMEA2000 data becoming corrupted and making the whole system crash. I have many battery monitors, charger info, 5 tanks etc trans...
I have tested the 1.24 FW and App V 2.0.11 that comes with it. The Alternator volt and current now shows up in the Cerbo (not battery volt and current like before). The only drawback is that it s...
Arco released Zeus Firmware v1.24. https://arcomarine.com/pages/arco-zeus-bluetooth-alternator-regulator-firmware-updates Now it should show alternator data on Cerbo instead of battery da...
I have got reply to every mail. Very short replyes, but they are looking in to it and will implement many improvements in to the next FW release. I was in my boat again yesterday. Setup t...
Are you using 500 kbps or 250 kbps bitrate? I have found that it needs to be 250 kbps. If you use 500 kbps the WS500 will sync to the REC, but you dont get the data on from WS500 on Cerbo. ...
In sync mode "disabled" it does read the voltage correct. But alternator volt is always 0V, even thought the volt sense is connected. Even unboxed an second Zeus to rule out HW failure.
So basicly the "battery voltage" just freezes and it continues full speed.. there is no stopping it. Disconnected the CAN cable 3 hours ago, still giving out 100% field. Acually if I turn Sync mo...
I also discovered that in Sync mode (both Victron and REC) If the Zeus looses connection with the BMS it will just continue in Bulk mode and refering to the last known battery voltage. Essentually...
My contact has been with Rob and Chris, but I guess they are more of an sales team. Nick is probably an better bet, will try to get his contact info. We have been dealing REC for 15...
"REC at 250K and with the cerbo set to 250k bms and the Zeus to Victron follower". EDIT: I noticed now you said Victron Follower. Yes I tried this. And it does not work. It does not read DVC...
So far what I have found: NMEA data for Battery, Engine and Charger all neds to be enabled for the Zeus to show up on Cerbo. Disabling this, gives you no data. Just make sure you choose an insta...
@Matt Looking back in older manuals like 2.8 I see that it used to be: CANF 250 and CANF 500 So seems like they changed this in 2.9X. Just start by sending CANF? or CANS? and see w...
@Matt CANS 2 =250 kbps, CANS 3 =500 kbps Page 15: https://www.rec-bms.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/UserManual_ABMS_Victron.pdf
I hooked up an test setup this morning in 30 minutes. No motor or alternator needed really. IF you want to test field current just add an 12V bulb. Just an Zeus, REC BMS with cells, ...
@Rick Not sure thats the problem. The fact that you can use the REC on 250kbps in VE.can network is old news. It was an requirement to use the WS500 and this is what I am now testing on Zeus. Bu...
