Hi, to access the USB port on the WS500 you need to remove the 4 screws on the cover plate and it is located in the top left corner just above the dip switches. Once you connect it to your PC, click the \"Scan USB Ports\" in the bottom right of the window and it should find it and connect it for you. Please note that you do not need to power up the WS500 to perform configuration. The PC will power it through the USB port.
Note that when powered through the USB port it will sense a low battery voltage and go into a constant reset condition. When connected with the app, if it thinks you are in a \"bench Test\" mode it will ask you if you want to inhibit alarms and resets. This can also be manually set by clicking on menu item System/Set regulator to Config Mode.
