On page 7 of the manual, the illustration clearly shows pin 1 in the upper-left corner of the connector on the unit.
On page 8 of the manual, the illustration clearly shows pin 1 in the upper-left corner of the face of the plug!
Both of these statements cannot be correct. One of them must be wrong.
Based on my measurements, as wired according to the labels on the pre-assembled leads, I believe that the plug illustration on page 8 is a MIRROR IMAGE of the correct pinout. But, having heard so many tales of woe of burnt fuses and dead units, I am unwilling to plug in my connector until I get positive confirmation on this.
The diagram on page 7 is correct. All wire numbering is correct on both pages but on page 8 the diagram is also correct if you are looking at it from the \"cable out\" side (when plugged in this is what you would see) but I think that the heading \"Figure 3: Battery pack connection plug – front side\" is ambiguous.
