As I am a newbie, it would be great to set up a section on the forum (perhaps at the top level, or at least pinned to the top of one of the main topics) where all newbie questions could be posted and answered.
I have watched all of the videos from the WS website, several times, downloaded and read the docs at least once and am still having trouble putting this all together.
It seems like I am always a few "groks" short of understanding much of the content in many of the posts. All of very important information is scattered throughout all of the docs, so stitching this all together into a full context is daunting. At some point, through experimenting and asking questions on the forum, I will hopefully become fluent, but -damn- it is a steep learning curve.
Having one discussion thread to post questions that are more general in nature, and designed to introduce and orientate a new user can help to flatten the learning curve.
