NMEA data lost on latest firmware (2.5.1). Request for link to 2.5.0 to downgrade.

  • Hello everyone, I recently upgraded the firmware to 2.5.1 but unfortunately this broke the display of NMEA alternator data (temperatures, rpm, current, etc) on my B&G Zeus3. This was something incredibly useful and that I really miss so I would like to downgrade back to 2.5.0 which worked flawlessly. But I can't find any download link for previous firmwares. May I please have a link for it?

  • Sure, just send a quick email to support@ogm-energy.com and we will send it to you

  • Thanks Rick, just sent it.

  • DId this downgrade fix your issue? Are you still seeing canbus data on your Cerbo?

  • @D. Ryan I was actually able to reconfigure how the network recognized the data without downgrading it, after changing some settings. But this is without Cerbo, I plugged it straight into the B&G N2K network and I monitor all the data (current, temperatures, charging state, RPM, etc) from a custom page I created in Instruments.

  • I just figured out that the most current software is 2.5.2.

Do you have any idea if it fixed your NMEA 2000 issue?

  • @William In the end I was able to have 2.5.1 working well, as I mentioned in the previous post, no complaints. And looking at the release notes, it seems that 2.5.2 is mostly about Victron DVCC and WS48-12X DCDC so I'll stick with my current 2.5.1.
