Can not register my software


  • I can not register my software tool.  I keep getting an error message saying it can not connect to the Registration site.  I have verified my internet connection and even tried a VPN.


  • It seems that recently Microsoft has changed some security settings, but the fix is pretty easy. When you go to launch the WS500 Config tool app from the Desktop Icon, instead of using your left mouse button click on the right button.  A menu will appear and from that menu select \"Run as Administrator\" Now your app should be able to connect to our verification server and properly register. Note:  You only need to do this the first time you register the app.  After that, select and run the app normally.   Thanks to Steve M for finding the solution and reporting this one!!
