  What are the minimum connections need to verify operation and communicate via serial interface using the REC USB to RS485 cable?

  Rick, I have the official REC cable.  Will the BMS power on and be responsive if the only connection is the serial cable?  My battery pack isn\'t quite ready but I want to test the BMS using their desktop app.
