System has been in service for nearly 5 years with no issues. Cells are 280ah eve configured in a 2p-16s
A few days ago the system just shut off completely. The only error on the victron system was internal bms error. The hen when I checked the bms I found;
Error:14, BMS: 1, cell/temp: 1 EEPROM memory corruption
After power cycling the bms unit switch it did come back on and re enabled the contractor. System seems to be functioning properly again now but the above error is still present and will not clear.
Glad it powered up again.
If you set a value out of range, like setting SOCS to 75 instead of 0.75 you will get this error, but a power reset will set it back to default value.
You say it restarted but was still in error?
What was the error number after restart?
@Rick the strange thing is I have not touched the settings for probably 3 weeks prior to it happening.
By restart I mean the battery came online and powered up the system. Error is still the same before and after but now battery is on and functioning. When it first set fault battery shutdown and disconnected contractor.
I have not seen this situation before.
@Tine Andrejasic Tine, what do you think of this problem?
What is the BMS Serial and SW version?
Send me setting please.
