BSLRD test

  I just purchased a BSLRD. I can't get it to work with my relay.  

  I've hooked it up to a power supply but there are no lights to indicate that it is powering up. How can I test it using a voltmeter.

  Ok...  Maybe if I give more detail in how I've hooked it up...

  White is to + of the power supply (set at 13v)

  Brown is to - of the power supply

  Pink is to + of a simple LED

  Grey and Green are to - of a simple LED

  Yellow....  Not sure where I should be connecting it.  

  I thought it should be to the - of the power supply and a switch could control this connection.  When its not connected it should pulse the LED and when its connected it should pulse the LED...  Maybe 100ms is too short for me to see the pulse?  Regardless I can't get it to run my contactor so I must be doing something wrong.
