Quote from Rick-admin on March 16, 2023, 1:50 pm I would think you only need 2.9-2 if you have an older system and do not have the Wifi module Hi Carl. So far as I know there is not a version...

The charge relay is controlled with command RE1L and RE1H. Not with CMAX.
The REC-Q serie has 2 outputs, one from this can be used as ATC, to switch off non victron compatible chargers. Both outputs programmable by customer. (No new firmware needed) REC ABMS...
Hello Jhonny, Ben here. Your suggestion from field control through the Cerbo is maybe not the best approach. But the Cerbo has already a \"max\" amp setting under DVCC which would b...
Without knowing which firmware you are using check the setting from RE1L and CLOW.
Warranty is 2 years. Best to contact Rick by email. Iam ws500 dealer in Asia. Iam not sure how they handle a warranty issue as this. If the unit is bench tested all could be ok. Many compani...
If the blown fuse is not continues happen, it will be difficult to say what \"had\" blown the fuse before. I never have seen a problem in the WS500 that has blow the fuse. ...
What is the value from the fuse that is blown? As a test, check or there is a problem inside the alternator. Do this test, which Al Thomason posted in this forum before. \"\"Remove the Blu...
The WS500 can do 48V systems. I dont know the specs from your battle born batteries, maybe they can not be use as 48V system. I think there is a misunderstanding on this point.
All settings Tine describe are in the screenshots you have posted above. In my view all set correctly. What the commandos means is in the manual.
Which firmware you are using? Did you try another version? Do you use single main relay, or separate charge/load relays?
How I see it. All settings from this part from the manual are correctly set, see screenshots above. Did you have send the same screenshot with all settings to Tine? Screen shots from REC and ...
You can reset the wifi, holding the switch in the wifi unit 20 seconds?? (I dont ave the exact info by hand) other suggestion, start with a fresh formatted sd. Only copy the 2 latest u...
I have no other suggestion. If I change the \"max charge current\" I see seconds later in the Cerbo the CCL is changed to the new level. Maybe ask REC. If you solved the problem, please gi...
No \"limit current\" in dvcc, thats good. Other suggestion: check REC app. In settings: is \"amount charger devices\" set at 1? Under the same settings, what is set at total Ah?
Check under dvcc, max amp setting. Post screenshots from this settings.

I agree with Trond Arvid. I prefer also to have p=type regulated alternator. I see more advantage for this, for different other reasons also. Most off the time easy to modify the alternator.
Hello Steven M, The manual you use is a short version, and indeed not really clear. I have send a comment to Wakespeed to make this chapter more clear. copied from full manual: \"\"$CPA...
Your posted example is correct. I dont see, your mention comma in the manual. As reminder, you are programming profile 7, 7 is not the first parameter. Dont forget to set the dipswitch...
So far as my knowledge goes, the VE-bms, only send a signal if a cell is too high or too low. And switch off the load or charge bus on this very high and low limits. It dont send any CVL or C...

Another thing that not clear in you diagram, is where you install the voltage sense from the WS500. Think about that IF the REC is the \"system battery\" monitor in the Cerbo, you can not use SV...

If you charge relatively high amps compare to battery bank, amps sense is more important. If you can charge the bank at float voltage, probably your float voltage is set too high. Do you set ...
