I've been wanting to verify and adjust several unlisted settings such as RAZL. When I attempt to do so using the dialog box on the Firmware screen, I get no response. Not only that, but any attempt to use that feature results in the WIFI module dropping the connection to my browsing device. It's as though the WIFI access point gets reset. I have to reconnect to the WIFI module.
I've tried factory-resetting the WIFI module and rebooting it.
I'm a bit confused about the firmware version. On the Firmware screen, it appears the BMS is software version 2.6 and hardware version 2.1. At the bottom of the Firmware screen there's some text that reads: "Firmware update: HW:1.2 SW 1.5.8". I'm not sure what that is describing.
This sounds like a processing issue. Try this
Connect to wifi module
Go to Firmware page and log in
scroll down to Manual commands
Enter address: 1 for q/2Q 2 for ABMS
Enter command: RAZL 0.15 presss enter *** space before number *** (or your new setpoint)
Reply should be: OK
To confirm, Enter: RAZL? press enter *** no space before ? ***
Reply should be: 0.15
Upper numbers are your BMS firmware/hardware
lower numbers are your Wifi module
Thanks for the quick reply and advice Rick! I got a little bit further.
I'm now able to set variables and I receive the "OK" response. I think I wasn't using a leading zero previously. Each time I issue the manual communication, the Wifi connection drops. Sometimes it auto-reconnects but usually I must reconnect to the access point, refresh the screen, and login to "unlock" the settings.
I still have no success with the read operation. When I issue "RAZL?" there is no response. The only thing that happens is the Wifi access point drops my connection. I think the Wifi connection drops before the BMS can send the response.
I have also noticed that persistant attempts to issue these commands will cause the Wifi module to lockup. The access point is no longer visible over Wifi. In that case I must power-cycle the Wifi, press the reset button for 20 seconds, then power-cycle it again to return it to service.
I'm wondering if I should reflash it's firmware?
The unit is in a clean, dry location and appears pristine.
It looks like you are at 1.5.8. Firmware and manuals are all on our REC North Amercia site here. Update that first to see it resolves your issue.
Make sure you read the ReadMe in the zip directory before installing the updates.

Thanks again for your help Rick. I'm just now heading offshore, so I'm reluctant to flash it right now. When I get to broadband Internet again, in a month, I'll report back to you.
