@Johan page 4 from manual mention, the internal relays can do 0.7amp.
Check how much current your Tyco relays use.
You can also have REC, BMS switch on 1 Tyco, and the other 2 Tyco, switch on by the output from the first Tyco.
All 3 relays need to be switch off at the same UV?
You can also switch off lesser imported one on a higher UV level.
Look under task and program relay 1 and opto 2.
The opto, can only switch 15mA, see manual.
If you need more current to drive as the REC can do, use a extra relay or a SSR relay, something like this.

Or use not Tyco relays, but Blueseas or TBS relays.
TBS relays are my favourite, in ON position they use lesser as 3mA.
For switching they use 3mA, on the control wire, the actual switch current is used from the main wires, not from the control wire.
Hi, The Tyco relays 9-36V use 0,13A Holding current. I want to set differnt UV settings on all three relays if possible. I also have one Pre-charge unit.

Maybe others in this forum have experience with switching Tycos.
I don't like relays that use 24h day 0.13amp.
The ABMS, has 2 relays, 2 opto outputs.
To switch a relay or Tulyco with the opto output, you need something in between.
See as example the srr board mention in previous post. Just as example, there are many options for this.
Using the Wifi module and in the Tasks section you should be able to configure a different dropout voltage for each.
You should have 1 available relay that will drive the Tyco directly and you will need 2 interface relays to drive the other 2 tycos from the opto couplers. Something like these should work well
Rick, Thanks, but I would be able to use both main relays? and set both relay parameters for open at low cell voltage? Then I would only need one Opto relay for the third Tyco with use of an relay link.
@Johan For the ABMS, firmware 2.94
Main relay, can be set for ONLY Low voltage protection, program MODE at 2. (parameters under settings are used)
Main relay can set for LOW and High voltage protection, program MODE at 1(parameters under settings are used)
Relay 1, can be program under TASK for Low or High voltage protection
opto 1, is standard programmed for Low voltage protection, not programmable in Task. (parameters under settings are used)
opto 2, can be prograammed under Task for LOW or High Voltage protection
At design from a system think about current drain, relays like this:
Use low trigger current, but the blue relay on the board use also continious between 40 and 60mAmp.
A SSR model much lesser. Often around 10 or 20mAMP in total.

@Sturla The "Quick connect TBS" is a new product, not yet on the market.
Some functions:
-connect bms, 4 wire only (ATC+, ATD+, + and -)
-Connect easy 2 TBS relays
-connect a remote panel, which created easy excessibles to switch off the system if needed. (No other main switch needed) (one 8 core cable)
-It send a warning 80 secounds before the Discharge contactor opened. (ABYC rule)
-It switch off the Alternator controller or other charger, 1 a 2 secound before the Charge contactor opened (Recommended by alternator controller manuafactures)
- It can bypass the BMS, in "read manual" position to switch on the main TBS relays. (If this is allowed to use in your country, but make it easy to switch on the system when BMS failed. NOT allowed in ABYC rules)
In many installation it is not easy to reached the control buttons on the TBS relays quickly, becasue the are in a technical area.

Description:
Main function EASY connection box:
-wire easily the 2 positive signals from BMS, ATC and ATD, with the TBS relays.
Extra function EASY connection box::
1- This panel is also the MAIN switch from the battery system.
In Middle position the ATC and the ATD can be switch off.
Pros: This panel can be mounted on an easy accessible place.
Main switch are often in another cabin, or under a seat.
For safety reasons, and ABYS/ISO rules, a main switch should be have easy accessible place.
2-Create a “delay switch off” on the ATC relay delay.
Chargers like alternator controllers can be stopped, 1 a 2 second before the ATC relay open.
3-Create a “delay switch off” for the ATD relay delay.
At this delay time, a buzzer is sounding; a Yellow LED on the remote panel comes on, before the system switch off. (This is a ABYC/ISO requirement for liffepo4 installations)
Function remote panel:
-Remote panel will function as a main switch for the installation.
-Both are always in “on” position.
-In middle position the battery is switch off from charge and discharge
-Emergency function.
Can be used as example when a BMS dies.
Switch to “read manual”, and the battery switch on.
USE only if fully understand the risks.
-LED above switch indicated or ATC, ATD relay is ON or OFF.
Cool! It sure looks a bit more professional than my relay interface boxes that does more or less the same thing. When do you expect to have this on the market?
