  With recent updates to both the Cerbo and new REC 2Q and Active series BMS's these systems now work better than ever together.

  • VE.CAN support 
  • DVCC control to provide battery to charger integration for Victron inverter/chargers, MPPTs and other smart devices such as the WS500 and Zeus smart regulators.
  • CANBus integrated alarming
  • Real time system display and trending

  When will this available for the Active BMS? The last firmware update I see is from late last year.

  This will work with the Active BMS current release as well.  Victron and REC are both continuing to enhance CAN functionality and there will be more updates over the next couple of years as this new integrated technology evolves

  How come when I enter "CHRG 1" my ABMS replies Error 1? Same response when I enter "CHRG?"

  "CANS 2" and "CANS?" work fine

  CANS is an command described in the manual for ABMS.

  It lets you change the bitrate of the data. 

   

  CHRG is an command that lets you change the protocol and this command is not supported by ABMS.  CHRG 1 is VICTRON protocol, and this is already coded in to the ABMS if your using Victron compatible FW.
