Hi
I just updated the firmware to version 2.92 (bms_1A_Victron_v2_92_1_tasks.bin). The update seems to have worked fine and I can see that the new firmware is loaded by the ABMS. The update was done using the WiFi module with the latest firmware.
But after I updated the firmware I see an error message on the WiFi modules home page
BMS Errors: Internal memory problems detected (see screenshot)
Is there an easy way to remove old log files and possible old firmware files using the WiFi module? I can see a massive amount of small logs on the Logs page in the WiFi module that will take forever to remove. I also suspect that there can be some old update files hogging memory as well.
Since there were more than 200 log files I gave up trying to delete them using the WiFi web interface. After I had shut down both the BMS and the WiFi module I removed the MicroSD card from the WiFi module. But my computer could not read the MicroSD card.
Ended up replacing the MicroSD card with a 32GB card instead of the standard 16 GB card and when I booted both the WiFi module and the ABMS everything seems to be ok again and there is no error message from the ABMS due to memory errors.
Really strange that i could read and delete old log files from the memory card using the WiFi web interface. When the card was unreadable on my computer.
Hey Jonas,
There is currently no bulk delete option and your solution was a great idea.
I am including REC engineering in this reply so hopefully they can add it to the feature enhancement wish list.
