Alternator ratio

  How do I determine my alternator ratio? Is there a table or a math function I can use? I have a Yanmar 4JH5E with a stock alternator.

  All the fancy math cancels each other out and it just becomes a function of the diameter of each pulley or sheave. If you have a 6 inch drive pulley and a 2 inch alternator pulley it is 6 divided by 2 equals 3
