General Table: Enable Battery Monitor, Update Battery Capacity (1120ah), Reduce incoming Amps to 13 (I\'m bench testing in the garage). Left everything else default (85% SOC for Bulk finish; Charge Efficiency 1.0)
Charger: Enabled Lithium. Left everything else default.
Disconnects/Alarms on Startup From there I switched the main on/off from the MP3K to the battery bank and in shortly thereafter I could hear the charger activate and see the inflow of current via the REC BMS PC app as well as the GX screen. However, moments later I heard the main connector relay disconnect. This cycled a few times and then I got a series of \"CAN-Bus battery / Alarm / High Voltage\" warnings with voltages ranging from 13.88 to 13.98v. Troubleshooting These warnings were confusing as they only represented 3.4975v per cell which is below the end of charging (3.58v) and max cell voltage (3.65) set in the ABMS settings. Nonetheless, I tried to resolve this looking to a few sources, which led me to think the 14.4 default charge rate on the Victron might be too high. So I reduced absorption to 13.8 and float to 13.5. This didn\'t resolve it. After several attempts which ended like the first (startup... initial charge... disconnect... reconnect... disconnect... alarm... manual turn off of charger), I reduced the standard 90 Amp output of the MP3K to 50 Amps and tried again. After this the charger started and the BMS did not disconnect. While it\'s nice for things to be working, I\'m wondering why it\'s not possible to charge at the full 90 Amp capacity of the MP3K. Also, wondering what are the preferred charger settings for the MP3k (absorption/float voltages, etc)?
