Charging Questions SunnyIsland 5048U

  • With the WiFi module (1.6) and the REC-BMS (2.8) configured, I have a couple of questions My understanding is the REC-BMS checks the battery voltage and requests charging from the SI. I have included a screen shot of the WiFi home page. The overall pack is at 53.93v and the cells range from 3.367 to 3.376. The Current values ranges right around 0 amps sometime up a bit and as in the screen shot running slightly negative. The Current shown started high when first installed, tapered off, and now is floating around 0.
    1. With the end of charging value set (as shown on the second screenshot) at 3.58, wouldn\'t the BMS ask the SI for charging output?
    2. 16*3.58V=57.28V With the home page showing 53.93V, why is the BMS not asking the SI for charging output?
    3. At some point, will the BMS start asking for current from the SI?
    Thank you
