Best way to partition 23 cells across two 2Q series slaves?

  • @tine

My new system has 23 cells (LTO) at ~2.3V per cell.

I've received my new system (9-M master + two 2Q slaves), and am wondering what is the best way to divide the cells among the two slaves.

    It could be 12 + 11 or 16 + 7, for example.

I'm guessing the first option would be best, as it would more equally dissipate any heat produced during balancing. But are there other considerations?

  • 12 + 11

What is the Master BMS serial?

I have to send you the dedicated firmware update.

  • @tine

Here is the serial number on my Master box: 9-M-1067.

This is a system with two slaves, to be used with an SMA Sunny Island 6048-US-10 inverter (this inverter is a master with 3 slave inverters, operating at 240/120 VAC split single phase).

The battery bank is 23 series cells, LTO chemistry, 900 amp-hours.

  • I have send the updat to Rick, so he will forward it to you, there is no attacment ikon here.
