The Cerbo does not provide battery settings functionality for the BMS. You can set up alarms, logs and DVCC functionality though
Good Day, This implementation of RS485 appears to be unique in that +VCC / GND is required. Furthermore, when measuring +VCC 5v (pin6) to GND (pin 2) with a DMM this voltage is not as I expected, ...
Does the ABMS show correct current (0 A) when all is disconnected? IS the shunt connected directly to cell 1- pin or via fuse or ON/OFF power switch? What avout the cable from the ABMS to the shunt...
You can open the ABMS and see if there is a ISO1050 (U5) mounted on the PCB. It should be, since we started to put them as a standard from 1-A-0470 onwards.
I think that is a really good solution.
If your batteries have No CAN, it is usefull to connect the 2 shunt wires to the shunt at the batteries. But without shunt wire the system will work also. It dont explain, why the system dont cha...
@Michael Thanks. I switched over to the andriod app and it did the firmware update and configuration download / compare like a charm. Definitely easier and faster than the Widnows App.
Sorry you are having that problem. It's frustrating. I'm not very familiar with the serial comm driver that the WS500 needs, but it kind of sounds like it's not loading. I didn't have to do anythin...
Hello - I'm having the issue mic outlined. I did the driver update Trond provided. After I release the reset button the ws500 tool does nothing. The green light isn't on. Wh...

From said customer: Actually, for a Master - Slave configuration "ERRL?" is required to retrieve the Log array

Your dipswitches are override at the moment, or by programming, OR after using the ws500 app. It is set in your logfiles, as override, at profile 8. Profile 7 and 8 are both custom programm...

Ben, many thanks. That sounds like a good explanation. We will deplete the house batteries to below 13.2v tomorrow when we are at dock and then test the alternator charging. I am correct in assumi...

Quick update, when the engines are started up without the USB connection to the WS500, there are no error codes (flashing amber for "slave" mode). Jay
Ben, many thanks. We recorded the WS500 log during two startup scenarios: 1) with solar connected and 2) with solar circuit breakers off. I don't know how to send the full log fil...
Are your WS500 connected to the Cerbo? If so, you could also share your VRM, maybe this shows what the problem is. This in combination with the logfiles gives loads off info.
Can you post a logfile from the ws500 when the engeines are running. Logfile can be made with Laptop and program Putty, see wakespeed manual. Or with a phone and the WS500 app, see wakespeed webs...
